Melbourne people!!! Yarra river...
Hi all,
I'm up in Melbourne for a week and just wanted to no what part of the yarra is the best to fish? Will be very helpful to no... any tips and tricks to. What local tackle stores do you guys have here so I can go pay them a visit. Thanks all. |

CBD based? Docklands is worth a visit. All structure.... just have to wander around and find the bream.

The pontoons along lormier of the Yarra have been fishing very well. For best results use micro vibes, stick minnows and small grubs. Fish them up higher in the water column. Using a pendulum retrieve where you let the lure sink straight on your line.

I haven't fished for local bream for a while but the Docks are generally pretty productive. Especially this time off year. Micros or Camo worms should see some Bream undone.
