Bargain

Very excited. Just logged into eBay and saw a just listed Certate 2004CH Custom. Looked in pristine condition with RCS custom handle and a "Buy It Now" price of $210. I couldn't hit the button fast enough, didn't even read the description.

Just had to tell someone who would appreciate it.

I wonder what the barcode on the reel foot is for?

Other than that - sweet score!

Not sure, the seller was a pawn shop so probably their coding. The reel was delivered yesterday. It is absolute pristine condition BUT for one thing, the bail trip does not work properly, only flips the bail half way over and results in the bail arm strut connecting at the roller banging into the handle.

Obviously been this way for a while because there is a bit of wear where the bail strut hits. Called Daiwa and they thought maybe $70 to fix and replace bail strut.

So I am happy, maybe $290 all in, loaded with quality braid and a $90 custom knob. I'll get it fixed after summer, I always manually close bail anyway so not a big issue.
