Sephia Ci4

Hey guys,

Just wondering who out there uses the Sephia Ci4? Its an "older" reel now but its one of those reels that has just been a pleasure to use. It is incredibly smooth straight out of the box, quiet rotation, light weight and looks good.

Definitely one of the most underrated reels out there I reckon and certainly one that you dont hear too much information about!

recently saw the new ones that have come out and forgot about the ci4 I had sitting on my shelf. Need to get it back out on the water! Its the 3000SDH btw, made in japan too

Yeah the JDM 1st gen Ci4 reels were made awesome. Then they moved some manufacturing to Malaysia and there is less care in the making if it.

If you go a bit more back in time, Shimano stood out a little bit as the 1st ever Sephias, Complexes, Exsences, Cardiffs and Soares were made awesome(er). They deserve to be put in a display cabinet, preferably in my room.

Think it's 35 meters now. Love the Gosen, can't throw it away haha. Reel us mainly used for snag fishing so don't need long casts anyway!
