DAIWA LUVIAS vs SHIMANO STRADIC CI4+?

hi guys would appreciate your help out of the two considering a 1000 stradic ci4+ or 2004 new luvias with 5lb braid.

I think it might just be a bit of a slow day mate. Youll get your answers though dont stress!

What ill say is its a bit like chosing between a flacon or a commodore. Both aimed at a similar portion of the market, both decent enough quality daily drivers! My guess is itll come down to your own personal preference. Sorry i cant be more specific than that but i havnt owned either.

Two different reel classes mate, most important thing though is how it balances your fishing rod. Take your rod to a local tackle shop and try those reels.

As far as the reels are concerned, you cant go wrong with both but luvias would be my pick.

Cheers

Thats essy... luvias. Just on aesthetis alone not to mention mechanically.
If you were to compare the luvias to the soare ci4 or complex ci4 that would be a harder one to decide on.

Big price difference between the two. If u go the stradic you'll have more money for lures...

My vote goes to the 2004 luvi as i have one and love it! Makes a great drag sound too when a fish pulls Really smooth reel!!

Though you could go wrong with either imo!

I have both reel's and I love my stradic. But the Luvi is another class. You would be happy with both but I would say the 2004 Luvi is the go.

Luvi would balance most rods better. 1000 size Ci4+ reels are so light it's unnatural. My 2500 Complex Ci4+ is on a 98 gram rod and its still tip heavy.
Haven't owned both models but I think you will be happy with either one.

Go the luvias. I currently own 3 ci4 but my next reel purchase would be the new model 2004 luvias.
