399 Proline build

Hi guys, Ive just brought myself a proline and am about to start doing some mods, decks livewell etc...
After looking at Nuzzy's build and getting a few pointers im gonna get cracking, about to buy my aluminium and start cutting.

My only question is, is 19mm x 19mm x 1.2mm wall thickness enough for forming the decks etc, obviously going to be supported too.

im hoping so as i want to keep the weight down.

whats everyones thoughts?

cheers

Hey mate, 1.6mm is pretty strong but you can get 19x19x2mm for not that much more. For the weight vs extra strength is worthwhile imo. I'll be using the same very soon.
