RIP Max Garth
Well known in SWF fishing circles, Max was also a member here on BM as he was passionate about fishing and fish care. We may not have always seen eye to eye, but he was always there for a advice or a lively discussion.

A very sad loss indeed...Reading and hearing about his awesome adventures in the early days of Quobba was and still is legendary!

That's sad news.
I knew Max quite well in the 1980's when he lived in the same town as me. He got me involved in saltwater fly and always had time to answer any questions or give me a casting lesson on his front lawn. The fishing fraternity has lost a SWF pioneer and a true gentleman.
