Bearing upgrades for Stradic Ci4 4000F & Sustrain 2500FG

Hello my fellow fishermen/women,

Does anyone know if there is any bearing addition/upgrade potential for these two reels? I am more interesting in adding bearings rather than replacing.

Appreciate any helpful input from anyone who has the actual experience.

Thank you.

I've got a thread somewhere on here where I replaced four bushes with bearings in my fj 8000. Both reels you have described have the same internals just on a different scale. If you look up the schematics of the Stella's you will find the replacement bearing part numbers where on your reels there will be bushes, ill try find the link for you.

Ah, you are delightful, Jim! I will have a good read during the weekend and probably start the project.
