That's spooky. I just posted something about chine walking and how easy it is to flip a boat just yesterday. It is so easy to get complacent. Boats and the water deserve a grate amount of respect and
That is a picture perfect example why. Glad to hear he made it.

Yep agree. I have a Prostrike. It is poorly balanced and subject to 'Chine walking' if that is the name of it. With only me in it; 110 kgs in the driving seat. four 25kg + batteries behind me, that's near on 200kg on the starboard side and all of it being the steering wheel, PLUS 120 litres fuel and 80 litres live bait tank. I chine walk at about 80 ks and it gets scary.

Yea it is prity scary. I am a shipwright and get asked all the time by customers about putting on more hp than what the hull is rated to and it just isn't
Worth that little bit extra top end speed. I tell them the bets part about getting home after fishing is seeing the mrs and kids. That out ways all for me.

Haha long memory is all, the guy is STILL a knob after all these years... How many times does he drive up and back to the bridge with his mate filming him? Look how unstable it was on the 4th run with a bit of side chop...

Must have been a quiet fishing year in Mississippi in 2009. Same channel, same bridge, same year, same film guys??

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uoR8J_uIAG4

Search through the two older threads and find bender's link and compare how stable that boat is, at speed, with Greg the knob's boat..

There was a proposal in the bream tourney circles, not that long ago, that anglers travelling on boats above a certain HP would be required to wear head & face protection. Some of the faster boat guys were chasing the early 'phace' models. Not sure why that disappeared into the wake , maybe Bear remembers??

Speaking of remembering, hey HOOKED do you still have a link to the Bling Bass guy that was catchin' them big ole pigs?? Now that guy had a bass boat!

Search for Chigger I think Mark for the bass bling.

I gave up on face protection, no one seemed to care, but I still use my goggles. Just in case.
