Hey all. Just a question. I have been using the tackle house rolling baits for a
While now and are one of my favourite lures. Sore the tackle house rising minnow today and grabbed a couple. Very similar (bib on top and slow sinking.) almost like a stick with a bib. Just wondering if anyone els has given them a go and if they are as good as the rolling baits. Cheers Chris. |

Rising Minnow
Hi Chris
We have been testing them for a while. The pattern tends to confuse people which way they swim but they have proven deadly under boat hulls and over weed. Here is a nice fish from testing earlier in the year. Cheers Steve

Yea I was thinking they would work well in those scenarios. I love the rolling baits. And tackle house in general. Good to see they are working. Can't wait to swim them. It's a shame that tackle house are not something that is well stocked. I have to specifically order all mine threw my local. I am
A big fan of the elfin shrimp too. Thanks for the reply mate. |

I was testing these out earlier in the year on the boat hulls and pontoons in pitwater and they were really effective, with the bib on top of the lure it gives the lure a really wide swimming action from side to side when retrieving it, you can just slow wind your reel to get it swimming side to side you don't even have to work your rod to get it to swim side to side, the shallowest I've used them in is about 1m of water.

I work the rolling baits like a stick,sp and then turn and burn works ok to. They are so versatile. You can match your retrieve to the depth of water. Hop them over shallow water, slow sink and twitch around hulls and pillions or live a
Vibe just dead stick with a little raise of the rod tip. |
