Shimano sonic pro v2 info wanted

Got this rod in the 902 shorespin,it says 6-8kg line.
Anyone know what range of size lures it can throw.

I'd say 40gram lures would cast well. You will feel it when your lure is to heavy and your rod won't handle it as well.

My Shimano Revolution Coastal 902 is rated 6-10kg and about 50g is its limit.
Judging by this Jim is right. Around 40g I reckon.

I have the same 902 series rod matched to my sustain 5000fg - extremely happy with the rod as it was so cheap and performs beautifully while surf casting and casting slugs up to 60 gram +.
