I can;t put down my new luvi 2004 on the featherlight K 1-3kg. 2lb sniper, micro guides, cranka cranks fly like bullets.

And when I don;t want to throw with the longer rod I throw it (Luvi) on a gen black itchy, micro guides, cranka cranks and zx blades fly like bullets.

What's your rig buddy?

At the moment mine would be my Samaki K2 4-8lb rod teamed up with a 2500 Shimano Stradic Ci4 spooled up with 6lb Frog braid
I find this setup a weapon for pulling big bream out of very nasty timber.

EDIT= When the new model K2 comes out later in the year I'm sure that might be a new fav when I get my hands on it

Mate the Luvi has exceeded my expectations.

Someone recently was aking about new reels wearing themselves in. Mine was smooth on the first run, it's had about 18 hours use now and it is somehow better than it was brand new.

Buy one. Buy 3.

Forget Shimano unless you are buying a Saragosa or a Stella.

Daiwa have just rolled the market and I won;t be buying anything else but Daiwa ever again.

My 2c...

BTW

Love your rod, I have room for 3 more combos on the rack and one of them is gonna be a Megabass. Tossing up between an Orochi or a Kirisame, but I hear good things about the Destroyers!

I'm pretty new to this whole scene but I really enjoy my Daiwa Tournament Airity 2500 with 3lb straight through on a Black Label SSS641 that's had around 1 1/2 inches removed from the tip! I also have a soft spot for my Aird 1500 and Gen Black Drunkn Monkey - casts like a dream, and makes me think about the fight with such light gear.

Nice mate! Would love to get my paws on a vanquish.

I would say my 2 favourite set ups are my samurai 201/2004 luvias and a samurai 302/2506 luvias with 2508 rcs spool.

Yeah it's been great for me. Landed my PB bass on it last season at 48 to the fork. The Aird is a great little reel too, nearly bullet-proof.
