best all round boat

Just interested on ppls thoughts on the best all round boat.
I'm after a side or centre console boat that is good 4 casting lures with an electric and trolling lakes but also handles the conditions of snapper fishing in the bays.
Will be interested in your thoughts!
Cheers

For an Oz made boat, the Galeforce are a pretty good option.

one that floats, i wouldnt worry about the fancy flat floor boats, that higher center of gravity sucks pretty quick when your out in some chop snapper bashing.

I'd say a 5m TABS Territory Pro would be the best allrounder. Not too big for the estuary but handles the ocean well, plus easy to handle by yourself. A 5m Territory Pro with a 90hp Honda and 80lb ipilot would be my ultimate all rounder

+2 for the Makocraft frenzy. Snowy lakes, south coast bays to 14 klms offshore, stable as to flyfish from and a good 1.2m deep keel for when it gets rough.

Not a lot of info supplied. What size roughly are you thinking about? I am guessing between 4 and 5 meters. Anything under 4 is generally too small for chasing Snapper in a bay & anything over 5 is getting too big to be sneaking around lakes & rivers with an electric up front.

I got a 4.35 wild cat, handles offshore stuff and is perfect for sneaking around chasing bream, matched with a 60 its economical and easy to tow.

Got a 4.1m Polycraft challenger SC with a 40 suzuki on it. I think it's a top all rounder, rides well (bit wet) and is super stable for a boat it's size. Really tough and can be picked up pretty cheap 2nd hand.

Just a thought.

Price will play a huge part in your decision too.

If I had to choose it would be another vote for the Tabs.
I reckon the 4.65 Territory Pro matched with a 90hp Optimax and an 80lb Cable Steer and you would be good to go!

I've had a renegade 460 for 12 months. Yamaha 60 4 stroke, minnkota 70lb electric, does all of the above. Mainly fish in Port Stephens but gone a few km offshore on good days. Added a sturdy bait table which is great for leaning on or grabbing in swell. Do mainly lure and fly chucking and I love it. First boat though.

I have a signature 485sf with a 90 4 stroke suzuki..use it offshore regularly, in the bay and up the rivers!! Couldnt be happier with it... And finish is second to none.. I also looked at the tabs but for a couple of thousand extra I went the glass
