action style video cameras
hey guys
was thinking the other day about the possibility of upgrading from the old hero 2, or maybe just adding another camera. wat are your opinions on the current cameras on the market??? heard a few mixed reports about cameras other than gopros such as the drifts and sony action cams but was wondering if anyone on here knew, or would you just stick with a gopro??? also my other question which may seem stupid, if i was filming with 2 gopros for example, one a hero2 and the other a hero3, when i went to make a movie using clips from each would i need to have the settings (ie 1080p, 720p etc) exactly the same? or would it just look wierd if i joined clips together that were shot on different settings (ie shooting with the hero2 at 1080p-30 whilst having a hero 3 at 720-120 just in case i wanted cool slo mo stuff???) cheers agz |

Hey mate,
look the GoPro Hero 3 is great does have a few bugs every now but with updates has sort of fixed its self. I still find its a great camera (I personally own the black edition and don't have any issues now) Theres some great comp out there but I just find it the most user friendly and gives good results. Regarding you upgrading just to a camera are you after a DSLR which can shoot video and stills or a full blown video camera? Because there are some great DSLRs that shot great video and great still photos of to. In regards to your different aspect ratio question its fine I shoot 720p and 1080 all the time. Can refer to this video to see that there is no difference in between quality and what not. This was shot strictly on a Hero 3. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtjHjFqTyMg |
