Best way to have a rod sent from Melb to Brissy ?

Hey guys , i recently had a mate pick up a rod for me in Melbourne and now i need to find the easiest (cheapest ) way to get it to me here in brissy , i have tried aus air express ( $80 ) and DHL ($120) and all their quotes have been crazy , can someone please steer me in the right direction with this?

Cheers Jase..

Ive used couriers please in the past but I run a business and have coupons.
Don't know if it applies to one off deliveries. They were the cheapest I found.

Maybe give them a bell?

Couriers please would still be around the 80 dollar mark at least to ship a rod from Melbourne to brisbane.

Ive used P&S for business couriers o/seas, service ok & was able to track the package, not sure if the same service is available in Aus as they are not the courier, just a 3rd party service. E-go can be tracked online being the service provider as well.

if you drive down, you'll have a few good stop overs on the way back to try it out & empty some of those boxes of bling!
