opinion on GL2 9000-2L ESP

Hi guys, have seen the advert on the new Loomis GL2 rods. I was looking at getting a rod for vibing and have been told to buy one that is a little longer.
The GL2 9000-2l ESP looks like it ticks the box but all my other rods are GLX and IMX.

Could anyone give me there opinion on this model or of another rod suited to vibing, thanks

Hey mate, the gl2 are good rods but it'll struggle to impress you if you use it alongside glx, it'll feel way too heavy.
I use loomis and I like to vibe with my tsr glx 7'2.
It's perfect I reckon.
I've used and moved on a lot of gear but I've stuck to 3 loomis rods I love for breaming.
Dsr glx, tsr 862glx and a sr 842imx.

I have 3 sr842 and think they are great rods. I vibe with these but would consider another option.

I do not have 3x 842. I have 3 loomis rods. 1x 842GLX, 1x 820GLX and 1x 841IMX.
Would love another outfit for different applications.

I am sure this has been spoken about before but what is the difference between the TSR 801 and the TSR862.

Would appreciate the info as these are the two rods I am narrowing it down to.

The 801 stands for 80 inches (6'8) and 1 for 2-6 lb
The 862 86 inch 7'2 and the 2 for 4-8 lb rating.

In my opinion the 2-6 lb loomis trout rating does not have enough power and is too soft if you run into a decent bream and you'd have no chance on a big flattie etc!

my mate must of had the 801.

I will have to get my hands on a 862 just for handling before I buy.
