daiwa aegis
any1 know the difference inbetween the aegis and luvias? besides being around $100 cheaper?

as far as i can see they are identical but the aegis is made in china... both the 2506's have the same line capacity and both have 7+1 bearings and 3 kilos of drag and mag seal and everything else and the only diff i see is that the aegis is $16 cheaper at the same online shop...

yer thanks mate the only thing i could see different is that it was made in china iv found the 2004 aegis for $200 not a bad deal i reckon

Umm they share the same body as a caldia not the luvias so they're more similar to a caldia

looking at the Aegis close up
the body looks identifal to a ballistic.. looks like the exact same paint and all too
