Lol im actually contemplating selling my dsr 820 to replace it with a samurai 201.
Got a 302 and love it. Love the grips too.

do u guys saying sell the samurai actually own or fished with the 101 ? quite like my 101 .. and my SR-842 in IMX and GLX ....
Edit doh, sorry don't own the DSR only the SR so can't comment ..

I remember picking one up once, and thinking "why do people even use these?" but that said I like really light crisp rods, and the samurai's just don't feel right for me. Ironically enough, I'm not a huge fan of the SR-842 either lol.

I have the DSR and a Samurai 203(1p) so cant comment on the 101 but what I would say would be ... its only one rod so just quietly put it away for the moment. Each has there own particular use and you might just regret the loss at a later time. Good luck with your decision. Regards, HBt.
