Prop guidance.

Ok all you motor wizards, when I get my boat on the water I expect I'll want to play with the prop a bit to get the most out of it. Its an yamaha F80. I've got a basic idea about changing blade pitch so that you get the engine top end revs right. What I want to know is the pros and cons of 4 blade props V 3 blade. Whats going to give me the best combination of acceleration and top end. I've checked out the Solas website and will make full use of them once I'm actually on the water, I'm just after some background.

Also does anyone know where the speedo pick up is on the F80, and should I be able to blow air through the line or is there some bellow/diaphragm arrangement in the motor somewhere.

if there is anyone in the newcastle area who has a similar setup I'd really appreciatte a look.
