What are you fishing for mate, atm I using a shimano raider 1-4kg and I have landed squire up to 57 cm with it and it is a good rod for bream and whiting

Got any info on line ratings you'll be using, lure weights you'll be chucking, price range you'd be looking at and what sort of length you like? Will make suggesting rods for you a lot easier.
Chucking in my two cents, I like pflueger trions in the 2-4kg model for around $100. Depending on where you live it could also double as a bay snapper rod or general estuary rod. The lox 1-3kg feels great too for about $200, feels much lighter than the trion. I got my samurai for 360 and absolutely love it, works with all lures even though it was designed as a plastics rod. Good luck with the hunt, CJ
