Crony rods

Hey all. I have bin struggling to find a designated unweighted sp rod. For fishing the mariners. You all gave some really good suggestions. I have found a 3-8lb crony at my local tackle shop. It is awesome. Just wanted to know I anyone has used one and any thoughts or feedback would be Much appreciated. Cheers.

I've got a couple of Crony Cross Series they have a great feel and the sensitivity is amazing. But where they fall down is in casting distance and they are brittle.

What price are they ?
And what guides do they have ?

I came across them a while ago when they won best rod at China Fish.
Spoke to them about doing some bream customs but the price and minimum order was way out of my league.

Some very nice looking rods though, one of the few companies out of china interested in doing top quality "custom designs" rather than just copying what is already available.

My friend has one which is superrr light, feels great but he broke it very easily, it doesn't seem like the resin coating is very good.

Hey guys. Used the crony for the first time today. I think I'm in love. Can cast all day with it and super accurate. Awesome for hitting the mark around the pontoons around the mariner. Will have to c how the quality holds up over time. Well done china!!

Good choice. I have been testing Crony Rods for past couple months.
Great Results. Great Rod.

They are Built on Toray Blanks,
Use all Fuji Titanium Guides and Reel Seats.
The Cross Series is not Cheap. Quality Product.

Hey Nordy, know where I can get/look at a Crony? I'm from Morwell, new to the bream game. I bought a Punisher 7ft rod, I can show you a pic if you like got 4lb fireline and 6lb fluro vanish and cant seem to get that damn lure out there, I get approx 20m. I dont know whats considered a 'long distance cast' I picked up the rod for 60 bucks and got a pflueger reel to match.

theres a lot of talk about the Samurai 201 but damn they they expensive, not sure where to get them around gippy only saw the price on the net.
