Stella FE spool sizes

I've got the 2500FE and wanting a 3000 spool for extra line capacity. Will the 3000 spool marry perfectly with the 2500 body or will I just have another excuse to buy another reel?

Its basically a deeper version of the 2500 spool.

Correct me if I'm wrong but from what I searched up, the 2000 and 2500 share the same body size. If the 3000 spool fits the 2500 body, it will also fit the 2000 body too.. logically right?

I'm now thinking getting another stella in the 2000 and also getting a spare 3000 spool (I already have the 2500 reel size). This approach will give me 2 reels and 3 spools and all will fit.

Again, correct me if i'm wrong fellas.

Cheers Phil

You have the reel body fact right for 2000 and 2500.
However the difference between them is the rotor size.
2000 spool will not fit normal 2500 rotor except C2500HGS.

from your clarification Giveitall and being that i already have a 1000, 2500 and 4000 I don't think I'd bother with the 2000. I'm needing the 2xxx body size but with more line capacity from a 3000 spool. cheers mate
