Hi guys.

I have just bought a new rod and reel combo. usually dont like combos but this was cheap and well balanced. The rod is a jarvis walker white tip and the reel abu garcia cardinal 301. I was wondering if anyone knows much about the rig. The rod seems well weighted considering the price and the reel has 5 bearings and is about the 1000 size shimanos i think. I have no doubts that the rod wil handle a beating but will the reel hold up to big fish and will the drag handle it. It has 6lb fireline on it. (9lb tested breaking straind mind you)
