once you pop....

you just cant stop!

yatesy came to me with a plan a little while back, well a long while actually, about wanting to pop the bejesus out of some GT's in exy on our next trip.

he had been using tosh's smith rod last time and must have kind of like the way his arms nearly fell off after about an hour of tossing massive chunks of wood and plastic into the white water.

we quickly narrowed down the list of blanks to one of the tuna popping series from mudhole. just heavy enough so that if he ever breaks his crow bar he now has a spare.

seriously i think mal is going to have to spot him once he hooks up to make sure he doesn't get wet!

specs
line - 50-100lb
cast - 255g
guides - bloody heavy fuji doubles

also spun up an elliptical eva grip to go with some cross wrap thread work ...

enough jibba jabba..... pics!
