Strange but true...

Coming back from Gove on the weekend saw me travelling via Ullara (Ullaru). You have to disembark and then go back through security where i had my spool of 6kg 10X leader material 'confiscated' due to not being able to transfere it into my checked baggage. Apparently it's potencially dangerous material - in the same league as knives and nail clippers

This wasn't the first time i've been through security with the spool in a mesh pocket where it is fairly obvious - in fact i had already been through two screenings that morning - go figure - I'm pretty sure there isn't any fishing to be had around the Rock

Anyways, it's probably a good idea to remove any of your fishing gear from your carry-on baggage (hopefully i'll remember that next time).

Gove would have to have one of the smallest airport waiting rooms iv ever seen (Groote Eylandt being the smallest ).....and if they try to put anymore fans in that room the dam roof is going to lift of
