ever bent a bail wire?
Dropped my luvi 2506 in the boat yesterday and just happened to land on one of the only solid metal parts in my boat right on the bail wire
didn't think much of it at the time but only a mm out and boy does it mess up the reel, only noticed the problem when i opened up the wire for a cast and it wouldn't go over the spool. then it became really sticky.are these parts easy enough to replace yourself or better off just sending to daiwa? cheers |

ha ha nope = found out how much it cost to replace so not going to bend that... Everything else on the reel seems unbend-able except for that crappy hollow aluminium bail wire. A simple tap on a harder surface will dent it!
Pretty sure its a cheap mans Saltist - designed for rigorous luring use... |
