2013 Kayak Series Rules

The Rules (Daiwa-Hobie) are available here:
http://www.bream.com.au/abt/kayakrules.pdf

There are a couple of WA specific additions:
  • The minimum age of all anglers is 17 years of age;
  • A pre-fishing ban is to commence from 12.00am on the Monday preceding the competition day until 7.00am Sunday (the day of the event). In other words give the area a working week break.

And please note that entering early and submitting the entry form by email is the preferred option.

No, but if any people are coming from the Eastern States they are more than welcome to contact me and we can ensure they get to know the area.

WOW, just read the rules... Are Yakkers in the same boat as road rowers (cyclists) all drug addicts??

Seems to be a large emphasis on mind altering drugs.

We would hunt you down and ensure you never ever get to fish again

The purpose of the ban is to try and relieve some of the fishing pressure thereby hopefully resulting in bigger / more plentiful bags for the comp.

But we cannot stop any non-competitors fishing the area - that would be lovely but unrealistic.

So while you are free to fish "ÿour local" it would be appreciated if you could try elsewhere.
