Question 13 Fishing

Heyy guys,
I'm looking at getting a new rod in the future and don't want to spend a fortune. I was looking around and 13 Fishing popped up. Has anyone heard of them? I've read some reviews on them and they all came back positive. I'm looking for a flats rod and a racks rod and these have caught my attention. Has anyone used these rods before? If so how do you rate them?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Cheers,
Anders

Hey mate.

At the moment they have the 610ML which is a fantastic racks rod.

As far as a flats rod, we are currently testing a few different prototypes for the lighter stuff.

Ps. I work for them.

Pretty sure a few guys on here have got the 610ML and can shed their opinion.

Warranty of 13 Rods

Hey 13 fish offer a scheme from the tackle tour review
All Omen rods come equipped with a 5 year original owner warranty. Simply register your rod on the 13Fishing.com website after purchase, and should any breakage occur due to defects in materials or workmanship, 13 Fishing will replace the rod at no charge other than return shipping fees. Another option is their Oops! rod replacement program. Regardless of how the rod broke, for a $75.00 charge (that includes return shipping) they will send you a brand new rod. As in the standard warranty, you must be the original owner and have your Omen registered on their website.
Will this be offed to Aussie buyers??????

Yes it will be.

Full details on everything will be unveiled when they officially are released to the market in the next month or so.

Awesome! I think I'll be getting one when I get the money! Is there any other rods you might recommend?

Don't you work for a tackle store? You could look at getting a few rods in and seeing how much you can get them for..and test them

I just received a couple of rods yesterday, a 6'10" 4-10lb and 7'1" 4-10lb will hopefully get out next week and give them a go. They are Bass rods and there fore have a quite solid butt section, however just playing with them so far they are quite sensitive through the tip as well.
The build is of a mid $300 rod quality and finish is very good. The small finishing touches really make this great value for $169 RRP.

As Dolivedunk has stated they are currently working on some bream specific rods and by the look of the current ones these will be a real winner.

Here are some pics enjoy.

Yeah they certainly have some balls about them, will be good in racks and pylons or heavy timber.

The bream series will be very good I think.
