Revamped Aegis

Looks like daiwa is bringing out a new Aegis. Loved the old model, this looks to be a mid to high range reel. Not bad, keen to see it in the flesh.

yeah doesn't look like price has come out.

7/1 bearings, mag seal, zaion, im guessing it would be similar priced to the new luvias. Looks sweet though. Keen to see what that aero I knob looks like in the flesh, have seen some baitcasters with similar knobs

Definately not a balistis/freams body. It appears to just be another luvias based reel.

what are you talking about its the exact same body as the freams/balistic its got the gap the livias has no gap like that, have a closer look

its pretty much a caldia with one more bearing, but with different colours, a different spool and an air knob, probably cost twice as much as a caldia

That translated page has the most detailed description of how Magseal works I have seen. The Mug Shield protects the reel from predators.
