The hard part was getting the blue house paint off

An hour of sanding later she was ready to be primed. Once that was dry we whacked on the undercoat.

The next day..

Was more sanding

Once we had a good enough surface we decided to mask up the sides and do the gunnels and bottom first, color of choice - White

A few coats later and that's done.. Now to come back tomorrow because that take 12 hours to cure..

Day 3..

We re-masked all the white we sprayed on the previous day so we could do the sides! color of choice - Dark Blue

A few coats and that's done, now to wait

I left the boat for a week to cure to be on the safe side, I slaped a few stickers on, Rego Done, Rods in.. Time to fish!

Thanks for reading,

Awesome stuff mate! Just proves that you don't have to spend the big bucks to have a very solid and neat fish catching machine! Love the colours too!

How do you find that led strip lighting? Is it blinding in that position?

It was purchased with a dimmer that i installed so they're alright, i don't drive with them on either, perfect to fish with though.

Great job mate.

Did you use a etch primer to adhere the paint to the aluminum? If
So which one? I'm looking at painting my hull shortly.
