What do you use?

Well after Christmas I now have a Canon 7D with a 17-55mm F2.8 IS USM lens.

Can't wait to take some pics out on the boat of some fish, but for now I could only play with what was in the backyard... Still working out how to get the most out of the lens and camera really, bit of a rookie at photography.

So what is everyone else using for your fish photo's?

I have a Canon 7D with a EFS 15-85.
When I want to get creative I change over to a Canon EF 100mm macro lens.
My "grab and go" camera is a DMC-FT10 Lumix.

I'm using a Canon 500D with a Sigma 17-70 lens. I have the 2 kit lenses as well. Plus the Canon 50mm F1.8 II.

Would like a proper Macro lens but haven't pulled the trigger yet. I did buy some macro extenders for close up stuff and they work OK - lose autofocus though as they are the cheap ebay ones.

Would love the 7D body too. And an upgrade to the long kit lens. And a better travel tripod. So many wants - so little cash.

Also have a Nikon AW100 when I don't want to lug the Canon.

And then there is is the Iphone when I forget both.

I'm pretty keen on a 10-20mm wide angle, and maybe a 70-200mm to give me some zoom. That along with my 17-55mm should have almost all basis covered.

Check out the 8mm samyang fish eye lens. It is on my list.
