Tambo B.R.E.A.M comp

To any of those that are involved in the upcoming vic tambo comp this weekend I wish everyone the best of luck and hope that the area produces some of those big bream it is famous for.
I myself cant make it to this round due to work commitments but will be hoping everyone weighs at least one fish each

Lee I was just wondering if you had any stats for that snapper you are holding in your avtar? That is a snapper isn't it? Surely it couldn't be a bream!?

Ira,
Yeah its the best bream I have actually landed - measured 44cm fork length, but I didn't get to weigh him because some filthy piece of crap broke into my car the week before and stole my tackle bag with the electronic scales in it along with a heap of other gear.
Anyway I reckon that it was over the magical 4lb mark, check out the shoulders on it

Chaser,
Hope you manage a mako on plastic - I would like to see whats left of the tail at the end of the fight,
We had a great season down gippsland last year with numbers of big bream hooked, landed, and lost along with some nice EP's,
I know it is bad but we had great pleasure in releasing the big fish out of the live wells in front of some of the bait fishermen

It could be interesting with the amount of rain over the past couple of days

Who cares - three days of fishing, nightly beverages and entertainment........... does it get any better

Good luck to all - just watch out for the little Black Poly

Cheers,
