Assuming you're gona use it mainly for hardbodies go the sharpshooter. Beats the Jaegar hands down and the extra length really does make a difference.

Thanks for your reply dell....yeah mainly for hardbodys, how do you think it would go using blades and soft plastics?

I have chucked blades and plastics on my sharpshooters and they do it fine. I mainly use my Jaegar for plastics in canals and stick minnows but the sharpshooter is the perfect allrounder out of the nordic stage range.

Love my jaeger!! I'm not tossing any companies off with them reviews mate, they are no BS and about as genuine as you will get. I won't do one if I havent given the product a solid workout to properly test it out and if I don't like it I will say it.

I haven't tried the gunslinger or sharpshooter yet so I can't comment on them.

hey mick how do you find them at stopping fish? they seem to have quite a bend in them just wondering if you could pull up a big bass or jack if the situation arises ?

They can stop most sootys which I compare to a jack. Of course if you get a big one you will probably get dusted but if they wanna brick ya they will regardless of tackle.

Bass have nothing on sootys!

Jase these rods are bream rods, the Jaeger and Sharpshooter have a regular to fast action and are really good on light plastics blades, but are excellent with hards.

They do not have the pulling power in nasty cover for bass let alone jacks, cod etc.

Great rods though ;-)

Cheers

Mick.
