I have an eight foot one.

They mount to your jacking plate.

Measure the height to the top of your jacking plate with boat on trailer and then add ten feet.

It would actually sit a little lower than this so a good height to work with.

That'd be add 5 ft I'm assuming Dave - They do fold in half

I have the 8ft model as well, so realistically the top of mine in the up position is 4ft over the gunnel height.

Practicalities: Depending on your trailer height and using the longer pole some garage doors may not be high enough, however you can partially lower the pole to get under most things.

I have a bad habit of reversing into low tree branches in car parks, sort of the last thing you're looking out for when parking.............

10 Foot Blade Powerpole

One of the best move I made buying the 10 foot blade power pole Toby
(Thanks Ruski for cancelling your order!). It doesnt get into the garage when its fully upright but I just lower it one foot and it fits perfectly. Last time I spoke with Josh from Skeeter who sells them, he explained to me that you can also dis-arm them to be horizontal. Give him a ring mate. If you need any further info then flick me a PM and I can give you measurements etc.
