T31016 V Alphas

as title says im kinda tossing up between the two will be running 10-15lb for lighter wild barra work. throwing mostly smaller hard bodies but occasionally maybe a few larger 1s here and there.
interested to see what people thoughts are on the two and not just simply say 1 or the other but actually why.
cheers Zaneo

Go the t3 mate, it's more ballsy than the alphas which I reckon you'll need for barra and it'll still cast your small barra sized lures. The alphas's drag wouldn't last to long chasing barra I wouldn't think haha. (I use an alphas and a mate has a t3 so have seen both in action).

I have an Alphas im yet to catch something Barra sized but it can cast small lures nicely.Cant fault it.Pity the T3 air JDM model isn't salt water friendly or i would have to buy one.
Which ever you go bloke you couldn't go wrong. They both are good reels it comes down to personal preference. BTW ive had a drag upgrade and everyone has complained about the jerkiness of the drag in the Alphas.

An alphas will slay barra bud
A drag upgrade wouldn't hurt, but beware, you will need sub 1mm (.5mm) carbontex sheeting if you wanna cut and fit them yourself
I tried to use 1mm and it was a little too thick
Bit of cals and you're golden.
This'll provide a silky smooth drag that performs flawlessly, I can guarantee it
You can even go all out and upgrade your bearings too, pimp that mutha right out
Good luck with your choice
