Shark attack on Sunshine Coast
I know a few members on here are from the Sunny Coast so I thought I should post this...
Man treated at medical centre after being bitten by shark on a beach at Mooloolaba A 20-YEAR-OLD man has been bitten by a shark at a beach at Mooloolaba. He was bitten about 2.50pm and has puncture wounds to his left ankle. He has been taken to hospital in a stable condition. An ambulance spokeswoman said the man didn’t have serious injuries. “The initial call was a small puncture wound to the ankle. It was a non-event,” she said. Lifeguards at Mooloolaba told The Courier-Mail that they had not had any shark sightings today and hadn’t treated a man. A Department of Community Safety spokesman said he was treated at a local medical centre. All information taken from the Courier Mail.

They reckon it was a stingray not a shark but still unsure defintely sounds more like a stingray tho
