sammy 65 or megabass

hi all,
i would like to get a few surface lures to fish shallow flats with. Im stuck between sammy 65's and dog x jrs. i would like to know:

~ which will cast further?
~ which is better for flat glassy conditions and which is better in the chop?
~which is easier to use?

any help is greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Much or muchness on all of those questions. Sammy probably walks a little easier.

Which will cast further?

They are pretty much on par with casting ability.

Which is better for flat glassy conditions and which is better in the chop?

Neither are good for flat glassy conditions, bigger/heavier lures are not what you are looking for on a glassed out day. They work great in the chop but I would opt for lures such as Luckycraft NW Pencils, Scumdog 48's and Bassday Sugapens in the calm stuff.

Which is easier to use?

I would say the Sammy, not by much though, although both are extremely easy.

Todd

Either or. They are the two best surface lures on the market in my opinion, but they aren't ideal for glassy conditions.

Stick with the PX45 or the scumdogs in calm stuff.

How do the Saku topwaters go in relation to the Dog X Jrs? They look identical and the colours seem pretty decent!

Sammy. Cheaper, easier to walk and casts better. But the best way to find out is buy both

Mate the saku's are actually really good ay! My misses and I have been using the dog-x replicas for bass and toga with really good results
