changing hooks?

How do you guys do it with out nails? The dirty habit I have of biting my nails has provided some difficulties when changing the hooks of the sugarpen I bought this arvo. haha had to use a safety pin and pliers

Am I just a complete idiot or are there methods around this

I use Smith Pincettes, they are great for smaller split rings. Get em off fleebay for about about 10 bucks posted.

i have a few of the smith pincetts they work well for small bream lures

Smith pincettes, the only way to change trebles.

I got mine about a month ago, they must have come down since then. They are still readily available elsewhere.

Smiths are the only ones and there not that expensive here. Get a good pair of side cutters also, dont buy DohDohDohDoh ones you will regret it. Also handy for cutting trebles off as well as rusty split rings.

I got a some tackle rats split ring pliers from fishin.com.au for $20 and they do the job fine
