Mercury 30 hp 2 Stroke 2005 model

Hi

I did the lower unit oil change yesterday and noticed that there was no washer on either of the screws.

Is this normal as i thought each screw needs a washer? The boat has been serviced by go boating in liverpool last year.

Mine is a 2011 30 merc and both screws have washers. They have to alloy leg / stainless screws.
