Selva boat motors
Hey everyone
Do some searching and also been told buy a guy today that selva motors are just Yamaha motors and that Yamaha brought into them. Is this tru as there is a boat I could buy but I really only want the hull but it has a 30hp selva Thoughts on this It's a 30hp motor on the back

just found this and it elaborates on the yamaha thing further ,never heard of them till now they seem to have some credentials,but i'd still be very careful,not just of the engine itself but customer service too,some companies are absolutely terrible,still it doesnt look like they are chinese,so should be easy enough to resell http://www.selvamarine.com/company.php

I was told that Yamaha bought the design for the 2 strokes off Selva.
Mine was great to start with but has been a pain in the arse of late. Ever since i got dodgy fuel in exxy it has been giving me dramas. The last one wasnt the engine, but just a leaking fuel bulb, that sucked air.
