Advice on fishing Walpole WA
Hey Guys and Gals, I am heading down to Walpole this weekend to chase some bream, fished the Donnely last week, landing a bunch of rats and two good bream the best being 40cm to fork and 869 grams.
Would like some advice on whether it would be worth fishing the Walpole area at the moment and if so just some rough guides as to where it may pay to try. Any advice is greatly welcome and please feel to PM me if you do not wish to broadcast to every man and his dog. Thanks guys.

how ya going
hit up nornalup river, when you head into the river mouth and go a couple of bends in youll see some channel markers and a feeder creek to the left few bombies in there watch your outboard but can be some good fish in there the snags on the other side worth a flick aswell as you head up further towards nornalup town you come across little bays etc always worth a flick but can get shallow quick in there deep river also not a bad area for a flick aswell as the island near the mouth into the deep river again watch out for bombies if the water colour is still dark alot of reef around that island besides that the bay out from main ramp in town / opposite rest point is also worth a go especially right over near the snaggy side hope that helps i know the bays behind the island heading back across to the ocean mouth good luck always enjoy hitting walpole and staying at rest point look forward to seeing the report of the weekend |
