I've been hiding far too long!

Dear fellow fisho's,

It's been a long time since i've popped my head up on the forums, but I've certainly never lost my buzz for fishing! Some might remember me from back in the day as the bream fisherman that ate sandworms at competitions, well I've been up to a little more since then and thought I'd share

I've kept my passion for chasing all sorts of fish, particulary kings in shallow water around Perth.

Outside of my fishing escapades I have also completed a BCom in Entrepreneurship (1 week before Dad passed away which was an important milestone for me) and now launched a revolutionary folding boat company called Quickboats!

Anyway, you can expect to see me at a few competitions coming up; I can't wait to see a few new and old faces around the traps - cheers guys!

Hey Jimbo long time no speak mate. I remember when you used to just take off and come down here and surf and chase good looking girls around. Hopefully that hasnt changed for ya.

Nice little boat you got there and by the looks of the other post you have that nice rig to go chase kingies out deep with too. A few guys have got me into them out off Cape Nat recently and its unreal fun. Still got the quinny as well?

Im hoping to get back into the classics again next year too for a bit of fun so be good to see some familiar faces there.

Welcome back James... Like the others said, sorry to hear about your Dad, and hope all is well. These things can happen rather unexpected, which is all part of lifes challenges..

I to lost my old man when i was 15, had a few missed years after that, or ones i wished i missedBut now see at as a stage in my life where i probably learnt the most, in such a short time frame...

The boat looks awesome, and such a top idea..

One thing i was wondering,is can an electric be fitted to the front?

I am looking for a boat for "an overeseas mission" later this year, and the Quickboat appears to tick alot of boxes.

Also as already asked, what would the RRP be on the boats?

Cheers Nick

Wow thanks for the well wishes guys, quite touched actually.

The boats will go for $3000-$3500 depending on options and accessories. One great feature of it is that as a 10cm thick flatpack we can send it direct to a buyers door for very low cost

Thumbs up

Great to see you back James and look forward to your return to the bream scene for 2013.Condolences on the loss of your father too mate.

What a great rig...have been toying with the idea of a purely electric rig and was looking at getting a lite tinny but now this little gem turns up.

Love fishing the back waters on our southern coast and this would be ideal for the rough stuff I sometimes bash through to reach the sweet water.
Perched up on my roof rack safe and sound would see some new areas open up straight away.

Keen to have a look when they have gone into production for sure.Great work will be a hit no doubt.

P.S Could'nt resist another link.Shows an older production model under way and some of Jame's sweet acting skill's.

James good to see you back mate, you have been a busy boy getting an education, hanging out with Rock Stars, chasing chicky babes and starting up a business. Along way from drinking Coronas when you were 16 at Augusta I see you have brought the Full Boar, good stuff mate look forward to catching up at some of the comps
