Too many Hours?
hey Guys,
Looking for a second hand boat. Just wondering what you guys think is too many hours on a second hand motor. I know it depends on service history and how much its been flogged but just after some advice. I know alot of charter operators have like 1000+ hours and their motors are still going strong but just chasing some advice/experiences. cheers

Too many variables.. I don't even know how many hours my motor has on it. Could be a couple of hundred, could be a thousand.. I checked the compression, the gearbox oil and I took it for a run. Passed mustard so I bought it.

Kinda on a side track to this thread, Would you say that a boat that's done 90 hours in 10 months as a boat thats done a lot of work? Not sure how many hours on average (if there is an average) most guys put on their motors in 12 months?

I'm putting 120hrs on my 200hp every year. I fish more than the average but I don't think that's too extreme.
