Fuego questions

G'day guys,
I'm contemplating buying a daiwa fuego 1000a. However I have a few questions about this reel. I did try searching for info, but I didn't really get the info I was after.
Firstly, do 1500 or 2000 sized spools fit this model?
Are these good reels? Or have you had any problems with these?
It will be my first ever daiwa reel after being an avid shimano man all my life, so I'm very cautious!
Thx in advance.

I have a Fuego and a Luvias and they appear one and the same apart from the colour. They are marketed differently to difrerent markets,

Silver Luvias = JDM

Luvias DA (Blue) = AUSDM

Fuego = USDM

I bought a 1000a about 9 months ago now when they got discounted to $150. Has been an excellent little reel and havent had any problems with it at all. Would recommend one anyday. I dont know about different spools sizes sorry. The standard spool easily took 125yds of 10lb castaway, cant ever see myself needing more than that. Try the little daiwa out, you'll be a fan in no time. I use to only buy shimano because Rex Hunt use to plug them when I was little, but own nothing but daiwa now. Unless you spending $1000 on a reel Daiwa is the way to go
