2500 vs 2508 + Caldia Q

Would I be right in saying that the only difference between 2500 & 2508 Caldia is the 2508 has more spool capacity? Also I'm looking to use the Caldia as a jewie/jack/bass/racks reel. Do you think it would suitable for this application? I chose it over other reels because it seems to be the lightest reel in the price range. I am also going to buy a 2506 RCS Spool to use for the Bass/Racks side of things. What are your thoughts?
Cheers,
Oli

No that would be incorrect the 2500 has more Line capacity
And the 2508 is a shallow spool
But has the same amount if drag in Both

What you describe it will be perfect.
I usually use a 2500 size whilst fishing those situations Except jacks

As for the spool be careful which RCS 2506 you buy.
The air spool (old) only has 3kg drag the new machined sections from spool
And painted blue/red have the 7 kg of drag

Hope this helps
