Got new soft plastics

Do the Berkley gulp 2 inch baby shrimp in natural colour work or not, they look awesome. What is a good technique to work it and what size jig head. also where would be the best place to use it. any replies will be helpfully

They work. There are a few different ways to fish them. Just use a jig head that is suitable for the water flow/current.
1: You can cast out and leave and leave and leave, little lift then leave, leave.

2:You can cast out and leave for a while, couple of quick flicks off the bottom then leave.

3: Rig as light as possible and work them across the top (mainly summer glassy days)

Gulp Shrimp also go really well on hidden weight hooks.
I've done well with the natural colour. I buy them in the Gulp Alive tubs and chuck my other colours in with them.

I use these lure around structure mainly and rig as light as I can for the conditions and depth of the water. Seems to work for me

Hidden Weight System jig hooks around pontoons and structure around the 1/40th mark. Cast out and let it flutter down the water column a few seconds; couple of rod tip flicks etc.

Depends on the amount of current and the sink rate you want.
Anything between 1/40 and 1/12 should be sweet.
I like them in a size 1 or 1/0.

I use then un-weighted for the best results.

Un-weighted or TT 1/40th HWS jigheads, they are great you will catch nearly anything on them.
Let it flutter down then llet it sit for as soon as you feel comfortable and then twitch it 2 or 3 times and you should have a fish in no time.
Use it around Pontoons, on the sand flats, weedbeds, you can use them just about anywhere

As everyone has said hidden weights are the go. I fish them by skipping them hard up into pontoons or boat hulls so they hit pretty hard and make a bit of noise (this is like a dinner bell to any bream in the area), then just let it slowly sink with a few really small jerks to make it look like its hurt. If you dont get a hit by the time it hits the bottom, try again. IMO the skip has a lot to do with it, really looks like something else was chasing it up, then bang it has hit the pontoon and knocked itself out, bream dinner time.

Head first, then when I get a few fish and they start to tear I flip them up-side down and rig them head first. Have had a heap of success rigging them up-side down head first.
