New Bream Reel

Hi all,
My old reel just broke and I don't think I can fix it. I'm looking for a new reel. I’m hoping for something over 7 bearings. (My last reel was 9+1), 2500 size, really lightweight. I'm trying not to push $100 but I’m willing to go to $150-$180 if the reel is worth it.

Cheers

Stretch the budget to a Stradic and you won't look back.

Symetre would be my second choice, be aware there is a new model coming out. I is worthy of the bling thread.

P.S. Number of bearing doesn't always signify quality

If you can stretch the budget a little further you should look at the Caldia. Can get them shipped from japan for about $225, its worth every cent -believe me! Second to that, you could probably pickup a stradic 2nd hand for around the 150-180 mark, just have to keep your ear to the ground.

New ones aren't far from that price and you don't have to look far.
