Custom rod advice

Gday all I'm looking at getting a custom rod built but I keep putting it off because I keep thinking I'm gonna make a mistake with the design and not be able to balance it with the reel I want.
I have 1 question for you all-
1) am I the only person who has stressed about about something so trivial prior to ordering my custom?

Any reassuring comments would be greatly appreciated as its a lotta cash if I stuff it up. Cheers YD

Give your reel to your builder and he will be able to check the balance before gluing and wrapping.

Fuji weighted Butt, add and remove weights from the butt cap to suit any reel

Let the builder know what reel you're planning to put on it, he will make sure it ballances.

I made a living building rods years ago.
If you have any questions at all weather it be the type of reel or anything to do with the rod design don't hesitate to ask the advice of the builder.
You are not only paying for his skills as a craftsman but for his design experience as well.
