fluffness

i have found that fireline fluffs up quite badly over time is the same with all you guys as well or is it just me.

and is there any way of preventing it and also is it a bad thing like does it affect your fishing and casting any help would be grand

hi

I think it happens to most of us and as far as i know there is no way of preventing it.

what i have done is divide the spool of fireline into two lengths of 62 yards.

Fill your spool up with mono and then top-shot it with one of the lengths of fireline. when that starts to get fluffy take it off and reverse it so that the fuzzy line is now attached to your mono. that way you can 1 spool can last you 4 times.

I actually prefer a little bit of fluff, not too much but just abit at the top is nice.............
