Steez 2508 suggestion

Iv found a pretty cheap steez set up however I was wondering if it'll be to light for what I want,? Chasing smallish barra around700-800 and blue salmon around 500-750 using 8-15lb line?? Throwing plastics thoughts??

Mate i would think it be alright , i have a 2508 and although havent had the luck (or pleasure) , of a big mully on it ive been assured by a few people can handle Metre + fish ..
