Well down to Dion and Jeff a solid days work.

Good work from Charlie and Jack ,,Charlies put a lot of hours getting to know Mandurah in the leadup,,not easy when you live in Albany, really fantastic to see both teams get that Grand Final berth.

Our day (Yakfishwest) with Barak Carder (Yella Terra) was a dream start i had a 35.5cm on within seconds of the 1st cast going out,,after it was landed i said wouldn't that be funny if that was my only fish for the day ? Six hours later without catching another legal i did not find it that funny

Barak follow up with a legal a few minutes later and that was his last for the day,

Leccy lost juice around 10am and we went under outboard power for a couple hours,,then it came good again

A few boats headed home around 10.30am a massive squall came thru and dampened some folks spirits.

Another well organised Tournament from Craig, thanks to Susie for the loan of her boat while she fished in her partner Muzzes boat and cheers to Barack and a great day on the water, despite the weather and not getting a full bag it was a fantastic day anyway.

And cheers to John Osbourne that gave Tom a ride at the 9th hour ,,he has been waiting a long time to come of age and get stuck into these tournament bream and it would have been sad to see him miss out on a berth.

BTW > Some folks might notice the 2nd and 3rd teams got the same bag weight ,if you are wondering how it works in this situation the top spot goes to the team with the biggest bream.

Good work everyone who hung in there during the wettest day I've ever fished through!

Thanks heaps to Craig and the crew for putting together another well organized classic, it is always a pleasure to be a part of. Also big props to all the competitors who fished through such awful conditions. It was (and still is) a massive buzz to take out a win with so many quality anglers in the field. Jeff and I had a cracking day on the water that we will not forget for a long time.
It was also great to see recfishwest involved with another tagging program so we might learn a bit more about the mighty bream and their traveling abilities.
One more thank you goes out to the sponsors for their continued support to the classic series.

Cheers all, see you at the grandy.
Yeeeeewwww.

Dion

Chair Found!

Hi all, on the way home from sunny Mandurah , I found a grey folding boat chair on the Forrest Highway just after the Pinjarra road entry heading north.Underneath the chair, the markings suggest it may be from an American boat? . It's got nothing wrong with it except a scratch from it's misadventure. If you arrived home minus a chair or know who lost it, please call me on 0411222116 . thanks, Tom.
